Abigail is a freelance writer and editor with a particular interest in gardening and the arts. As well as being the author of several books, over the years she has written for the Evening Standard, the Daily Telegraph, the Church Times and The City Planter. She is a member of the Garden Media Guild and the Critics Circle.
Abigail will tell us about ‘The Remarkable Case of Dr Ward and other Amazing Gardening Innovations’, and will be sharing how she came to write the book, and discussing a few of those amazing gardening innovations. From secateurs to seed bombs, hybrids to ha-has, lawnmowers to land artists, the gardening world has long attracted innovators. Abigail will outline the advances that changed horticulture and the landscape forever.
