Freshford & Limpley Stoke and very fortunate to have a thriving community shop and café which, right now, is being future-proofed through a £100k expansion built by local volunteers.
FLiSCA is the community-run charity which owns the Galleries shop and café. FLiSCA uses the income from Galleries to support the local community and in the past 12 years it has provided £70,000 in grants to community groups, activities and assets. It has also seed funded some major projects such as the refurbishment of Freshford Village Memorial Hall and the purchase of the Hop Pole.
FLiSCA’s AGM is open to all residents and we encourage you to come along, meet the new faces on the Board and learn about how we are adapting our business to meet the new challenges.
We encourage you to attend and challenge us with difficult questions about any aspect of the business including the new extension (see the ground breaking photo opposite).
Under FLiSCA’a constitution, all attendees are Members and, as such, you can vote on all issues associated with the charity including the approval of the accounts and, most importantly, electing the Board for 2022/23.
