Residents are invited to this year’s Annual Parish Meeting from 18.45 (doors open from 18.30) on Wednesday 8th May in the Memorial Hall.
We’re trying something a little different and hosting a visions workshop for villagers to get together and share ideas for the future of the village and community.
People will be asked to imagine a future Freshford, covering themes such as:
– village economy
– kids and youth activities
– food and nature
– energy and housing
– transport and amenities
While this exercise is not expected to lead to any structured plan of immediate action by the Parish Council, we hope it will give villagers the opportunity to get to know new people within the community and sow the seeds of future projects and groups.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided and everyone is welcome!
